Our two year anniversay...

Cavan is such a sweet heart. For our wedding anniversary last month, he did everything he could to make it a special day. He took me out to an awesome dinner down in Old Town and then surprised me by taking me to the Marriott downtown on the harbor for a one night stay. He got an awesome room on the 24th floor. All my bags were there already and the room was all set up for me to have a relaxing night. After the long football season and starting up the basketball season, I had been exhausted and needed a break. I spent the night being pampered with a massage and he even brought stuff to do my toenails, he'll hate me for telling you that, but I fell asleep not long after the massage so unfortunately that didn't happen. It was a special night and one I will always remember. He knew what a pregnant woman would want and it was perfect.

These pictures are from one of our rooms two balconies. Awesome view. I love San Diego.

Prank on Dad

This was so mean, but so much fun. Dad is always a good sport. We just blamed it on Cavan and of course he wasn't surprised.

Tummy side shot...

So, Cavan is making fun of that last picture because of my pose. So here is a side shot. I wish you could see him mimicking me. It's hilarious.

Andrea's huge!

So, I am huge. I know some of you have wanted to see how huge. This was last week and I look even bigger now. The doctor told me a couple days ago I am growing like a weed. So far it's only been tummy growth. Let's hope it stays that way. I still have two months left! Crazy.

Good TImes!!!

Here are a few pictures of some fun things we've done recently

Cavan went to the Jack Johnson concert in San Diego

We went to the Chargers Monday night football game. The tickets were expensive but well worth the money. Neither of us have ever been to a Pro Football game before.

We went to conference this last Oct. and met up with Cavan's brother and his wife.

Andrea got to visit her brother Ryan and see his dorm at BYU

Prop 8

I just wanted to say how thankful I am for all of the wonderful people who spent so much time promoting Proposition 8 here in California. I was able to help a little and the feeling I felt when I woke up yesterday morning was unreal. All the hard work by everyone paid off. The gospel is true and there are people out there with similar values as us. That's a good feeling.

Here's some highlights from our marriage so far...

Here is Higgins. Don't worry, that's just a nickname. Long story.

It's hard to see but it's a Boy!!

Pregnant women showing off the bellies at the McDavitt's, although you can barely see Andrea's. This was the beginning of August so Andrea is about 16 weeks and Lahren is 23 weeks.

We went to Disneyland in August and I finally got to pose with a Disney character. I was very excited.

Jason and Marissa got married in December.

Ryan with his prom date and friends.

Moving in to our new place at the end of May. We love it.

Del Mar fair ferris wheel.

Jason David and Marissa sportin' their Chargers jerseys at Thanksgiving 07.

Cavan surprised me with a fancy room at the JW Marriott in Las Vegas for our anniversary. It was awesome. So that's our bed.

Face painting one of my beehives at our halloween carnival. We actually invited a bunch of people left homeless from the 07 San Diego fires since they were still burning away. It was fun.

The set-up for when Andrea's family came to stay during the 07 San Diego fires.

Watching SDSU at ASU Oct. 2007

Vivian and me at my birthday. (Cavan's beautiful sister)

Our bag of marshmallows melted and became one huge giant mallow during our camping trip July 07.

It definitely made a mess.

We visited Rexburg so I could see the new temple and stuff. This is where I opened my mission call in the Gardens on campus so Cavan made me pose for a picture.

Ryan really knows how to take control of a horse. In case you can't tell, he's been sitting there for about 10 minutes after the horse trotted over there with no authority from Ryan. It was hilarious.

Riding on the trail in Wyoming that Uncle Steve took us on July 07.

Cavan showing off his pizza making skills on pizza night with Will and Lahren.

Call the fire department! Dad's 52!

Lahren and me checking out the cookware at the fair.

Hanging out at the fair June 07.

The rest of these photos are from our wedding.

Cavan's cousin Jessica's daughter (Hailee)

Ryan broke his thumb. Bummer. I love the cast though.

Mom and Dad Rogers

Kirsten and Al dance'n.

My long lost friend Daniel and his wife and daughter. I was very excited to see them.

July Update...

Well, it's July and we still haven't started to add to our blog. Here are a few updates...

We just moved into a bigger place at the beginning of June. We are loving it. Thankfully we have A/C now which has been needed the past few weeks. I will have to post some pictures of what it looks like.

Cavan is doing summer school for a few weeks, to try and get ahead while still working part time.

I am working hard at work to try and get ready for football season. I have been learning how to create web pages, so that has become my new job. All I do is create web pages for our Athletics site (goaztecs.com). It's pretty fun.

Andrea's family:
Ryan, my youngest brother just graduated from high school, so is now preparing to head off to BYU. He has become the little ladies man, so it will be fun to see how things go for him up there.

Jacob, is finishing up is degree at BYU in film. He is working on his senior project, a 15 min film written and directed by himself, in order to official graduate in August. I am excited for him. He is beyond talented and I know he is going to do awesome things.

Dad is currently changing jobs again. We are very excited about it. He deserves the best because he works so hard, so we are anxious to see him happy at work.

Mom is busy doing the same old thing. She will hate me for saying that. She follows the stock market on a daily basis and has really become quite the guru among her fellow online day traders. She has fun with it.

Cavan's Family:
Jason and Marissa our still working hard up in Fresno selling pest control so they can head back up to Logan for their final year before graduating. They are anxious to move back down to San Diego. We are anxious for them to move back too. They were just here for fourth of July. It was fun to hang out with them.

Vivian and Chris are currently enjoying peace and quiet while the kids are in Texas with their Dad. We think the kids are crazy bored, since every 10 minutes Viv gets another text message or phone callabout random things like, "I just shaved my legs," or "Tell me what everyone is doing right now." It's pretty funny.

Mom is doing the usual things she does, taking care of the family. She loves it and wouldn't change a thing.

Dad is still working even though he is retired. I don't think he will ever be able to walk away. He loves it too much.

I guess that's about it for us. I hope to have pictures and videos to start posting soon.
