Casen James Rogers is here!!!

Finally we are updating our blog with pictures of our new little guy. He was born January 9 at 2:06 am. He weighed 8 lbs and was 20 in. long. He ended up in the NICU for a week with an infection but then came home on January 16 (my due date). His name is Casen James Rogers. Everyone asks where the name came from, so I will tell you. I saw it on a fax that a football coach sent to our office which had a bunch of his players names on it. One of them was Kayson. I just changed the spelling a little. Cavan wanted a unique name like his, so he liked the name.

Our two year anniversay...

Cavan is such a sweet heart. For our wedding anniversary last month, he did everything he could to make it a special day. He took me out to an awesome dinner down in Old Town and then surprised me by taking me to the Marriott downtown on the harbor for a one night stay. He got an awesome room on the 24th floor. All my bags were there already and the room was all set up for me to have a relaxing night. After the long football season and starting up the basketball season, I had been exhausted and needed a break. I spent the night being pampered with a massage and he even brought stuff to do my toenails, he'll hate me for telling you that, but I fell asleep not long after the massage so unfortunately that didn't happen. It was a special night and one I will always remember. He knew what a pregnant woman would want and it was perfect.

Prank on Dad

This was so mean, but so much fun. Dad is always a good sport. We just blamed it on Cavan and of course he wasn't surprised.

So, Cavan is making fun of that last picture because of my pose. So here is a side shot. I wish you could see him mimicking me. It's hilarious.

Andrea's huge!

So, I am huge. I know some of you have wanted to see how huge. This was last week and I look even bigger now. The doctor told me a couple days ago I am growing like a weed. So far it's only been tummy growth. Let's hope it stays that way. I still have two months left! Crazy.

Cavan went to the Jack Johnson concert in San Diego

We went to the Chargers Monday night football game. The tickets were expensive but well worth the money. Neither of us have ever been to a Pro Football game before.

We went to conference this last Oct. and met up with Cavan's brother and his wife.

Prop 8

I just wanted to say how thankful I am for all of the wonderful people who spent so much time promoting Proposition 8 here in California. I was able to help a little and the feeling I felt when I woke up yesterday morning was unreal. All the hard work by everyone paid off. The gospel is true and there are people out there with similar values as us. That's a good feeling.
